Jackery vs BLUETTI — feature-class honesty

Two brand families campers and renters compare for camping, day-trip, and expandable kits. This page compares feature classes (weight, solar kits, LiFePO₄ lines, app, expand packs) — not a winner crown. Model specs and street prices move; confirm on the linked official pages / current listing.

Honesty first (read this)

  • No invented prices or “today’s deal.” Where QuietWatt already published estimate bands on sibling pages, we reuse those and label them. Otherwise: check current listing / host-owned MSRP.
  • Feature-class, not scoreboard. Jackery often leads QuietWatt’s tracked ~1 kWh class on stairs-friendly weight (Explorer 1000 v2). BLUETTI often leads on $/Wh value (Elite 100 V2) and deep expand ecosystems on larger AC-line SKUs. Neither wins every camping, day-trip, or multi-day job.
  • Wh + continuous watts still decide the job. Brand loyalty does not start a fridge or buy multi-day runtime — see Wh class guide · what size power station.
  • Chemistry default in 2026 mid kits: both brands’ ~1 kWh SKUs QuietWatt tracks are LiFePO₄-labelled — LiFePO₄ vs NMC.

Specs and claims below are from manufacturer product pages / QuietWatt sibling citations (checked Oct 2026). Figures are estimates / manufacturer claims — not QuietWatt lab tests. Not electrical or emergency-planning advice.

Six axes that actually differ

  • Weight / day-trip carry. Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 is QuietWatt’s lightest ~1 kWh LFP cite (~23.8 lb / 10.8 kg mfr). BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 is still stairs-plausible (~25 lb class on sibling cites) but often a touch heavier; big AC boxes are basecamp. Stairs first: stairs / lightest.
  • Expand packs. BLUETTI AC180 / AC200L-class lines advertise bolt-on B-series extras toward multi-kWh. Elite 100 V2 and many Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 / day-trip SKUs QuietWatt tracks stay fixed — buy bigger up front or a second station. Multi-day path: expandable / multi-day.
  • Solar kits. Both ship official foldable kits (Jackery SolarSaga · BLUETTI PV). Max input watts and connectors differ by SKU (Explorer 1000 v2 often ~400 W ceiling in QuietWatt cites). Bundle honesty: solar bundles under ~$1,500. Controller type: MPPT vs PWM.
  • LiFePO₄ lines. Explorer 1000 v2, Elite 100 V2, and current mid AC lines QuietWatt cites are LFP-labelled. Cycle claims are manufacturer copy (often ~3,000–4,000 to 70–80%) — treat as order-of-magnitude. Chemistry: LiFePO₄ vs NMC.
  • App. Both ship phone apps for SOC and charge limits on current mid kits. Feature depth and firmware differ by SKU — confirm for your model rather than assuming brand-wide parity.
  • Noise. Light-load fans on both brands are often apartment-neighbour friendly; heavy inverter loads wake fans. Use-case: quietest / dB.
