Electric blanket / heated pad — Wh honesty
Often workable on mid stations overnight — low continuous draw vs room heaters. Blanket wins on Wh over space heaters; note CPAP combo load. Cross-link: CPAP overnight · apartment blackouts · storm kit.
Often workable overnight — blanket beats space heater
- Low continuous W. Many electric blankets / heated mattress pads pull ~50–150 W (sometimes cycling lower on thermostat) — not the 750–1,500 W resistive trap of a space heater.
- Blanket wins on Wh. Warming the bed beats heating the room. A mid ~1 kWh station can often cover an overnight blanket (estimates: 8 h at 80 W ≈ ~0.75 kWh before inverter loss) while a space heater empties the same box in under an hour.
- CPAP combo: if you also run a CPAP, add both loads — typical CPAP 30–60 W plus blanket 50–100 W is still mid-station friendly for one night when measured. Full curves on CPAP overnight; don’t stack a heater on top.
- Apartment / lease: fume-free bed warmth is the neighbour-safe path — same story as apartment blackouts. Skip open-flame and skip whole-room resistive heat on battery.
- Storm kit fit: pair blanket + lights + phone/router, not dryer/AC/heater. See storm / blackout kit and heatwave fan vs AC for the opposite season’s Wh-cheap comfort.

| Model | Wh · continuous AC | Overnight fit | Vs heater / CPAP honesty | Approx. USD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus Short | 286 Wh · 600 W | Few hours at ~80–100 W — pre-warm then unplug often wiser. | Still beats trying a space heater on this box. | ~$180–300 |
| Anker SOLIX C300 | 288 Wh · 300 W | Similar short window — continuous W clears; Wh is the gate. | Save for phone/CPAP if medical priority. | ~$200–280 |
| Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 Overnight | 1,070 Wh · 1,500 W | Strong overnight chance at typical blanket watts (estimates). | Blanket wins vs heater by a wide margin. | ~$499–589 |
| BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 | 1,024 Wh · 1,800 W | Similar ~1 kWh overnight math — measure pad watts once. | Good mid path for bed warmth without room heat waste. | ~$380–500 |
| Anker SOLIX C1000 Expand | 1,056 Wh → 2,112 Wh · 1,800 W | Expand packs help multi-night or CPAP + blanket stacks. | Add loads from CPAP overnight before promising both. | ~$400–600 |
| EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus | 1,024 Wh · 1,800 W class | Solid overnight + light extras (phone, LED, router). | Still skip space heater — see apartment priorities. | ~$600–900+ |
| BLUETTI AC200L Best headroom | 2,048 Wh · 2,400 W class | Best Wh in this set for blanket + CPAP + storm extras. | Pair with storm kit — still not a heater budget. | ~$800–1,100 |
