BLUETTI AC60 vs AC70 — entry AC ladder step
BLUETTI’s two entry LFP AC boxes: AC60 (403 Wh · 600 W · IP65) versus AC70 (768 Wh · 1,000 W). Roughly double the Wh for ~1 kg more. Feature-class honesty, not a winner crown. Prices: check current listing.
Honesty first (read this)
- Nameplates from BLUETTI listings (Oct 2026): AC60 · 403 Wh LFP · 600 W AC (1,200 W surge / Power Lifting) · 9.1 kg spec table (8.6 kg in marketing copy) · IP65. AC70 · 768 Wh LFP · 1,000 W AC (1,500 W surge, 2,000 W Power Lifting) · 10.2 kg.
- Power Lifting is not continuous. It runs resistive loads (kettle, hair dryer) at reduced power — label honesty, not extra inverter.
- No invented prices. BLUETTI runs frequent sales; check current listing.
- Other BLUETTI steps live elsewhere: AC2A vs AC70 · AC70 vs AC180 · EB55 vs EB70.

Axes that actually differ
- Wh. 403 vs 768 Wh — the AC70 is the light-overnight step (e.g. small fridge duty-cycle nights); AC60 is day-use / weekend phones-laptop-lights. Fridge runtime · what size.
- Output. 600 W vs 1,000 W continuous. Coffee makers / small cookers often push past 600 W — check appliance label.
- Charging. AC60: 600 W AC turbo (~1.2–1.7 h), 200 W solar. AC70: up to 950 W turbo (45 min to 80%), 500 W solar. Solar-heavy campers notice the 500 W input.
- Weatherproofing. BLUETTI lists AC60 as IP65; QuietWatt did not find an IP rating on the AC70 listing — check label.
- Expansion. AC60 expands with up to two B80 (806 Wh) to 2,015 Wh. AC70 pairs with B80 / B230 / B300 in Power Bank Mode per BLUETTI. Expandable vs single.
- Ports. AC60: 2 AC, 1 USB-C 100 W, 2 USB-A, 12 V car, 15 W wireless pad. AC70: 2 AC, 2 USB-C 100 W, 2 USB-A, 12 V car.
- Warranty. BLUETTI US lists AC60 at 6 years and AC70 at 5 years — check region.
