BLUETTI EB70(S) vs AC70 — same-tier EB vs AC
Two ~0.7 kWh BLUETTI LFP boxes a generation apart: EB70S (716 Wh · 800 W) versus AC70 (768 Wh · 1,000 W). Similar Wh and weight; the gap is charging speed, app and expansion. Feature-class honesty, not a winner crown. Prices: check current listing.
Honesty first (read this)
- Nameplates from BLUETTI listings (Oct 2026): EB70S · 716 Wh LFP (2,500+ cycles) · 800 W AC at 120 V (1,400 W surge; 1,000 W on 220–240 V SKUs) · 9.7 kg (21.4 lb) · 24-month warranty (US). AC70 · 768 Wh LFP · 1,000 W AC (1,500 W surge, 2,000 W Power Lifting) · 10.2 kg.
- EB70 vs EB70S. Original EB70 units were sold with different inverter labels; BLUETTI says check the rated wattage on the label (800 W = EB70S). Used / residual EB70 stock: check label before buying.
- Power Lifting is not continuous. Resistive loads only at reduced power — label honesty, not extra inverter.
- No invented prices. BLUETTI runs frequent sales and EB-series stock is residual; check current listing.

Axes that actually differ
- Charging. EB70S: 200 W AC adapter or 200 W solar, ~4–4.5 h either way. AC70: up to 950 W turbo AC per AC70 page (BLUETTI’s EB70S comparison card lists 850 W max — check listing) and 500 W solar. This is the biggest practical gap. Solar bundles.
- Output. 800 W vs 1,000 W continuous (US). Both cover mini-fridge, laptop, CPAP class; kettles / hair dryers need Power Lifting or neither — check label.
- Ports. EB70S: 4 AC, 2 USB-C 100 W, 2 USB-A, 2 DC5521, 12 V car, 15 W wireless pad. AC70: 2 AC, 2 USB-C 100 W, 2 USB-A, 12 V car. More outlets on the older box.
- Expansion / app. BLUETTI lists EB70S scalability: No, and no app. AC70 has BLUETTI app (Bluetooth) and pairs with B80 / B230 / B300 per BLUETTI. Expandable vs single.
- Weight / Wh. 9.7 vs 10.2 kg for 716 vs 768 Wh — near-identical carry class. Carry / Wh·kg · fridge runtime.
