Motorcycle / bikepacking camp power (phone + lights + camera)
Soft panniers and rack limits punish “portable” marketing. Size a light station for phones, headlamps, and camera batteries — not a fridge plant. Weight deep-dive: stairs / lightest. Multi-day quiet camp vibes: festival camping.
Weight note (read this first)
- Sub‑5 kg wins on bikes. RIVER 3 / C300 / RIVER 3 Plus class units fit tank bags and side cases; ~1 kWh boxes (~11 kg) are adventure-touring only.
- Wh vs kg trade. 245–288 Wh covers phones + lights for a weekend; cameras and laptops push you toward Plus / 1 kWh if the bike can carry it.
- Vibration & weather. Strap hard, pad foam, keep ports capped — camping stations are not motorcycle IP67 luggage.
- Alternator top-up. Some riders charge from SAE / DIN while riding; still size camp Wh for the night without assuming perfect charging days.

Camp load budget
- Phones (1–2). ~10–25 Wh/day each with maps offline-ish; more with hotspot.
- Headlamp / string lights. ~5–15 W × evening hours.
- Camera / action cam / drone batteries. USB-C PD or small AC bricks — often 20–100 Wh per pack; see also drone field charge.
- Skip the mini-fridge fantasy on a dual-sport — that’s van / car territory.
Typical moto camp average: ~10–30 W over 24 h depending on camera charging.
Wh estimates
Hours ≈ (rated Wh × 0.85) ÷ average watts.
Phones + lights (~15 W avg)
+ Camera packs (~30 W avg)
Carry rule
Comparison: moto / bikepack stations
Filter by carry band. Prefer USB-C PD for phones / cameras.
| Model | Wh · weight | Est. phones+lights | Bike note | Approx. USD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EcoFlow RIVER 3 Lightest AC | 245 Wh · ~3.55 kg | ~14 h @ 15 W (est.) | Tank-bag / top-case friendly; weekend phone kit. | ~$150–230 |
| Anker SOLIX C300 | 288 Wh · ~4.1 kg | ~16 h @ 15 W (est.) | Similar soft-luggage class; check continuous W on camera bricks. | ~$200–280 |
| EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus Sweet spot | 286 Wh · ~4.7 kg → 858 Wh |
~16 h · expand if you stay put | More headroom for camera AC bricks; still under 5 kg base. | ~$180–300 |
| Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 Quiet camp | 1,070 Wh · ~10.8 kg | Multi-day phone+camera buffer | Hard-case / trailer only — too heavy for most soft panniers. Festival-adjacent quiet nights. | ~$499–589 |
| BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 | 1,024 Wh · ~11.5 kg | Same touring class | Quiet for campgrounds; strap in a top box rated for the mass. | ~$380–500 |
| Anker SOLIX C1000 | 1,056 Wh · ~28 lb | Overkill for bikepack; fine on a big GT with hard cases | Expand path if you also camp with friends — see festival. | ~$400–600 |
| EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus | 1,024 Wh · ~12.5 kg | Support vehicle / dual-sport with trailer | Solar headroom if you park for days — not a dirt-bike day bag. | ~$600–900+ |
