BLUETTI AC200MAX vs AC300 — expandable station vs modular home system

Two BLUETTI expansion rungs: AC200MAX (2,048 Wh built-in · 2,200 W · up to 2×B300) as a self-contained expandable station, and AC300 (3,000 W inverter, no internal battery · 1–4×B300 for 3,072–12,288 Wh) as a modular home-backup system. Feature-class honesty, not a winner crown. Prices: check current listing.

Honesty first (read this)

  • No invented Wh, watts, or street prices. AC200MAX figures (2,048 Wh LiFePO4, 2,200 W / 4,800 W surge, 900 W solar, 28.1 kg) come from the BLUETTI US product page / manual. AC300 figures (3,000 W pure sine, 6,000 W surge, 2,400 W solar 12–150 V, 3,000 W AC charging with 30 A cable, 21.6 kg / 47.6 lb inverter) come from the BLUETTI US AC300 + B300 listing. B300: 3,072 Wh, 36.1 kg (BLUETTI B300 page).
  • AC300 has no battery on its own. It needs at least one B300 (or B300K on newer kits) — price and weight the bundle, not the head unit.
  • Surge is not continuous. Size to continuous W: peak vs continuous.
  • Expand packs are SKU-specific. BLUETTI lists AC200MAX up to 2×B230 or 2×B300 (max 8,192 Wh) and AC300 up to 4×B300 (12,288 Wh) — confirm module: expandable vs single.

Axes that actually differ

  • Architecture. AC200MAX is a full station that can grow; AC300 is an inverter head that only works with B300 modules. home vs portable.
  • Output / 240 V. 2,200 vs 3,000 W continuous; two AC300 units can bond to 240 V split phase via BLUETTI Fusion Box Pro (mfr). AC200MAX is 120 V only in the US.
  • Solar. 900 W (10–145 V) vs 2,400 W (12–150 V) max. Panels: PV120 vs PV200.
  • Refill. AC200MAX 500 W adapter / 1,400 W AC+solar; AC300 up to 3,000 W AC (30 A cable) and 5,400 W AC+solar with two B300 (mfr). charging speed.
  • Weight / carry. 28.1 kg one box vs 21.6 kg inverter + 36.1 kg per B300 — it is a floor system. carry / Wh·kg.
